EMUlaunch

Version 1.2 Final Released

After multiple betas and some very positive feedback from all of the beta testers, there is a final release of EMUlaunch 1.2. A quick rundown of the new features:

  • Nested ROM folder support.
This was the biggest addition to EMUlaunch and means that you can now have your roms divided into folders within the main roms folder. For example, you can have the following
    /Atari/roms/Favorites
    /Atari/roms/Arcade Ports
    /Atari/roms/Worst Games
    /Atari/roms/Or any other category

EMUlaunch will automatically create an expandable tree listing for these folders
at the top of your list. Simply press “return” to expand the list.
  • Updated interface. The interface has been slightly updated to a slightly cleaner and easier to view look. These are simple changes, but I think that the artwork looks better and the listings are a little easier to see.
  • No longer show icons for consoles which you have not selected in the preferences
  • Icon images can now be replaced by selecting the EMUlaunch application in the finder, and selecting “Show Package Contents”. In the resources folder you will find images named btns_nes.png, etc. Replace these images with your own but they must be the same size.
  • Interface now reacts differently when you use less than 6 consoles in EMUlaunch. The highlight box now moves to select the appropriate icon. When there are 6 or more consoles being used the highlight box stays in the middle and the icons move.
